BIG BOOTS tells the charming story of a lonely orphan boy who wears a pair of ugly boots… It is a beautiful, moving and witty drama (with a sad ending).
We plan to shoot the film this Spring on 16mm.

Under Water Girl
When Creative Cloud Collective set out to make a video to accompany an IDM track by Collective co-founder Nikolay Seizov (aka Micromatic), they had the vision but not the cash. So they grew a Gondry-style underwater world out of objects taken for free from a local recycling centre.

Not only low-budget, but low-carbon, the video tells the dreamlike story of a girl chained to the seabed who follows an origami bird to the upper air, where she becomes an Arctic-outfitted boy. The stop-motion video is composed of intriguing, original images—but all of the materials have been used at least once before, and were recycled after the shoot.
In tune with the film’s environmental ethos, and their unique practice, the Collective led two innovative, sustainable film workshops at the Soul Project – a community centre in Walthamstow – where they demonstrated to young attendees that it’s possible to follow your wildest cinematic dreams without a Hollywood budget, and with respect for the environment.
